Students gain access to digital textbooks and resources by logging into their school portal. For both NEW and OLD students who have changed schools, subjects, recently bought texts, will need to activate their new texts by logging in.
Box of Books has further information below. There are two models to consider, please read the one that applies to your school.
The Parent Purchase Model is where parents purchase the resources for their students and usually has an invoice number starting with PI-XXX XXX
The School Purchase Model is where the school purchases the resources on behalf of the students.
PARENT PURCHASE MODEL
The parent has purchased the resources on behalf of their child and now require access. The following are common issues:
COMMON ISSUES
The email address that they have entered into their order was NOT the same email that the student is using to access their school portal.
Student has not activated their digital resources by logging into their school portal using their school email credentials.
If it is still missing after 48 hours, please ask students to log out of their Box of Books account, clear their browser's cache (see below) and log back into Box of Books. This will refresh their account.

YEAR 7 STUDENTS
If the student is in YEAR 7, Box of Books works with your school to obtain all email credentials for new students prior to the start of school where possible, however the student may not receive this until the first day, or week of school.
Once an email address has been provided to your student from the school and we have been notified and set them up in the Box of Books platform, they will then have access to their digital resources by logging into their school portal using their school email credentials.
SCHOOL PURCHASE MODEL
Depending on the school's purchase model/SIS integration, such as WONDE, TASS or SENTRAL, it can take up to 48 hours for new texts to appear in students' accounts as it communicates with the Box of Books system.
If they are logging in for the first time since changing schools, year levels, or subjects, please allow some time for their account to be updated.
After 48 hours, please ask students to log out of their Box of Books account, clear their browser's cache (see below) and log back into Box of Books. This will refresh their account and ensure that any changes the school or Box of Books has made will be actioned.
