Evaluation Books in BoB

We understand how important it is for teachers to evaluate new publisher titles, as faculties plan for new curriculum implementation and select appropriate student resources for 2025 and beyond.

To make this easier and more efficient, teachers can now self-service a wide range of published titles within BoB through our Evaluation Books feature. We are also able to include evaluation page proofs, to allow inspection of forthcoming titles with later publication dates.

Evaluation Books are digital books available for a free 30 day evaluation. You can start an evaluation by simply:

Selecting Evaluation Books in your BoB menu, and filter for curriculum-specific books in the bottom panel.

  • Hover over the selected text and click on ‘Get This Book’

  • The selected text will move to the ‘My Evaluation Books’ top section to read in BoB for 30 days.

For more details about the Evaluation Books feature, please click to view our quick video guide.

Teachers can also continue to request 30 day evaluation copies through In App messaging or email [email protected] . Our customer service team will be able to add evaluation copies or check title availability for free digital evaluation.

2025 Booklisting Key Dates

In Term 2, booklisting activities for 2025 commenced, with draft booklists open in our Booklist Tool for school resource coordinators to initiate review of student resources.

Together, we are working towards key milestones to ensure students have their resources in time for the start of the new academic year. A critical milestone is the Approved status key date when schools have finalised all aspects of the booklist and submit the booklist for BoB final checks. For your reference, these dates are:

Parent Purchase:

  • 2 August 2024 for Term 4 2024 booklists, and

  • 18 October 2024 for Term 1 2025 booklists.

School Purchase:

  • 16 August 2024 for Term 4 2024 booklists, and

  • 1 November 2024 for Term 1 2025 booklists.

We hope the new titles catalogue and Evaluation Books feature will support faculty discussions ahead of these key dates.
